All models F400-120 except 2 poles incorporate separate high grade die-cast aluminium blades locked within an aluminium injected hub (diameters from 400 to 630) or a pressed sheet steel hub. (diameters from 710 to 1250).
F300-120 and F200-120 models incorporate an aluminium injected hub (diameters from 400 to 800) or a pressed sheet steel hub. (diameters from 900 to 1250).
2 POLES F400-120 model with aluminium impeller / hub formed from a one piece casting.
All models are available in both short and long casing versions except 2 poles F400-120 model only supplied with long casing.
Short casing versions are available with or without external terminal box (for ease of connection).
Long casing versions are available with external terminal box or with a large inspection door fitted (that enables access to the motor terminal box for electrical connection).
All options available for each fan will be suggested when you will configure it. Air direction: form B (impeller over motor) and form A (motor over impeller) are available for all the fans.

The casings are manufactured from a robust galvanised frame work combined with panels lined with 25 mm thickness of fireproof fibreglass acoustic insulation (M0). All models incorporate F400-120 rated motors approved to operate continuously (S1) and in emergency situations (S2).

Range of belt driven single inlet centrifugal fans, designed for emergency smoke extraction in fire conditions and certified F400-120. The fans are also suitable for supply or exhaust applications in commercial and industrial buildings.
Sizes of this series are in accordance with AMCA standard 99-0098-76 and DIN323R20.

Operating limit
Each fan type has its maximum operating speed and power due to its mechanical design. The operating limit of BSP series is adjusted to meet the requirement of class I limit as defined in AMCA standard 99-2408-69.

Motor

Wheel
The wheel of BSP series has backward curved blades manufactured in cold rolled sheet steel with polyester powder coating finish.

Housing
For all sizes except 1250 and above, the housing is manufactured in galvanized sheet steel with the housing fixed to the side plates in “pittsburg lock” form system.
Housing for 1250 and 1400 are manufactured in mild steel finished with polyester powder coating.

Frame
The frame is manufactured with galvanized angular bars for type “C”.
For type “T”, they are manufactured with sections of steel and finished with polyester powder coating.

Type C (models from 315 to 630)
This type has a frame fitted on both sides of the fan which gives better strength and rigidity. It allows mounting in four different orientations, either CW or CCW rotation.

Type T (models from 710 to 1400)
This type has a welded frame giving increased stiffness and rigidity required for higher operating performance, either CW or CCW rotation.

All models incorporate a single inlet low pressure centrifugal fan mounted on anti-vibration mounts and flexible coupling at the discharge. Supplied as standard in horizontal discharge (code H) configuration with motor, pulley and belt assembly on the left hand side of the unit when viewed from the discharge outlet (code CW).
